  William R. Fies, age 58 of 130 Robin Lane Hummelstown, died on Thursday, May 7, 
  2009 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence in Harrisburg. He was the husband 
  of Beverly Updyke-Fies. He was born on September 22, 1950 in Quentin, PA to 
  Harry & Stella Bricker Fies. He retired as a Professional Truck driver after 40 
  years. He was a member of the Rocherty United Methodist Church, Lebanon. 
  Surviving him in addition to his wife Beverly, is his mother Stella Fies, 
  Quentin; a step-son James A. Lookingbill, Jr., Hummelstown; a step-daughter 
  Stacey L. Lentz, Harrisburg; his sisters Donna Lasher & Sandy Smith, Lebanon; 
  Sharon Morris, Mt. Aetna; Susie Gernert, Cornwall; his brothers Harry Fies, 
  Lebanon; Ronald Fies, Grantville; and many nieces & nephews. Relatives & 
  friends are invited for a time of viewing on Monday, May 11, 2009 from 1:002:00 
  PM at the Rothermel Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra followed by his 
  funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. In 
  lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Central PA, 
  PO Box 266, Enola, PA 17025.
