Krall Funk, 89, of 2421 Mifflin St., formerly of 18 W. Maple St., Cleona, died Thursday November 5, 2009, in her residence. She was the wife of John H. "Pat" Funk, who died in 1995. Born in Annville, on November 11, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Jonas and Lucy Beck Krall. She was a 1937 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1941 graduate of Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. Vivian was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII serving as a nurse. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon. Surviving are a daughter, Sheila, wife of Terry Kelley of Cleona; two sons, Patrick J. Funk of Pottsville and Samuel R. Funk of Cleona; three brothers, C. Bruce Krall of Resida, Calif., Christian Krall of Lebanon, and Roger Krall of Delaware; a sister, Sylvia E. Krall of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Donahue. Graveside services and interment will be held on Monday, November 9, at 3 p.m. from Fairland Brethren in Christ Cemetery, N. Mill St., Cleona. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church at 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, is in charge of arrangements.
