  Grace H. Geiger, 95, of the E.C.C. Retirement Village-Albright Campus, 
  Myerstown, Pa., formerly of W. Carpenter Ave., Myerstown, died Friday, January 
  23, 2009, at the Retirement Village. Born in Myerstown, Pa., on May 5, 1913, 
  she was the daughter of the late James H. and Alice R. (Woomer) Geiger. She was 
  a 1931 graduate of Myerstown High School and was employed as a supervisor at No-
  Mend Hosiery, Lebanon, Pa., for 32 years and retired in 1974 from Berkshire 
  Hosiery, Reading, Pa. After her retirement, she worked at Smith's Candies, 
  Myerstown, for 15 years. She was a member of Myerstown UCC, a charter member of 
  AARP in Lebanon; a life member of the Goodwill Fire Co., Myerstown. An avid 
  sports fan, she enjoyed walking and swimming. She is survived by a nephew 
  Howard Geiger Jr., husband of Joann Geiger of Palmyra, Pa., and was preceded in 
  death by sisters Mae and Edna Geiger and brother Howard James Geiger Sr. 
  Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. from Grose 
  Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. There will be no viewing 
  or visitation. Interment at New Union Cemetery, Myerstown, Pa. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Church Improvement Fund" of 
  Myerstown U.C.C., 310 W. Main Ave., Myerstown, Pa. 17067.
