  Wendy S. Gettle, 43, of Lebanon, Pa. died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Thomas 
  Jefferson Neuroscience Center, Philadelphia, Pa. She was the wife of Brian E. 
  Gettle to whom she was married 17 years on February 14. Born in Lebanon, Pa. on 
  October 19, 1965, she was the daughter of Victor and Ruth (Helm) Shepler of 
  Myerstown, Pa. She was a 1983 graduate of ELCO High School and had been 
  employed at Plain and Fancy Kitchens, Schaefferstown, Pa. for 15 years. She 
  enjoyed camping, baseball, wrestling, soccer and racing with her family, 
  children and grandson and also enjoyed gardening. In addition to her husband 
  and parents, she is survived by a daughter Jessica Gettle companion of Chris 
  Harbaugh, at home; sons Shane Gettle and Brandon Gettle, both at home; sisters 
  Melissa wife of Forrest O'Kelly of Myerstown, Pa. and Stacey wife of John Klahr 
  of Myerstown, Pa; brothers Terry Shepler of Myerstown, Pa., Steve husband of 
  Ann Shepler of Myerstown, Pa. and Kevin husband of Renee Shepler of Myerstown, 
  Pa.; grandson Cameron Harbaugh of Lebanon, Pa.; father-in-law and mother-in-law 
  William M., Jr. and Ruth S. Gettle, of Lebanon, Pa. A Memorial service will be 
  held Friday, July 10, 2009 at 5 pm. from Friedens Lutheran Church, 301 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. The family will receive friends following the 
  service in the social hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. 
  Ramona Road, Myerstown, Pa. 17067. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown is in charge 
  of arrangements.
