  Gettle, William R. 
   
  
  William R. Gettle, 76, of 507 Canal St., Lebanon, died Monday, April 27, 2009, 
  in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Violet M. Boltz 
  Gettle. He was born in Lebanon on January 9, 1933, son of the late Raymond and 
  Bertha Peiffer (Conner) Gettle. He retired in 1984 from Building Management at 
  the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean 
  Conflict. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon, and the 
  Lebanon American Legion. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, 
  Diane, wife of Walter Wolfe, Lebanon; granddaughter, Brittany Wolfe, Lebanon; 
  and sister, Marilyn, wife of Gilbert Morrissey, Lebanon. Funeral services 
  Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. Rohland Funeral Home Inc, 5th and 
  Cumberland St., Lebanon, where a viewing will be held Thursday beginning at 
  9:00 a.m. Interment Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers 
  contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater PA Chapter, 
  3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110-9638.
