  Harold J. "Sonny" Greth Sunday, February 22, 2009 Harold J. "Sonny" Greth, age 
  68, of Pine Grove, Pa., passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009, at his home on 
  Maple Street. Born on July 31, 1940, in Tremont, Pa., he was the son of the 
  late Archibald and Esther Wendling Greth. Harold last worked as a laborer for 
  Pennfield Farms in poultry processing. He had also been employed by Lynn Ladder 
  Co. in Auburn, Moen Sink Plant in Pine Grove, and had been employed in several 
  different pipeline jobs in New Jersey. He was an active member of H. H. & L. 
  Fire Co. No. 1, Pine Grove, and had been an avid fisherman and hunter. He was 
  preceded in death by five brothers, Charles Greth, Donald Greth, 
  Ronald "Butchy" Greth, Luke Greth, Robert Greth; and four sisters, Helen Neal, 
  Mabel Long, Catherine Fegley, Stella Morgan. Surviving is brother Archibald 
  Greth of North Carolina. He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, 
  especially Charles and Kim Miller, and Lynne Neal. Services will be held at 
  H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at 10 a.m., with 
  Dr. Richard W. Schoenleber officiating. Interment will follow in the German 
  Reformed Cemetery, Tremont. Contributions may be made to the Hillside SPCA, P. 
  O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901, in his memory.
