Hampton, 92, died Sunday, September 6, 2009, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. Born May 17, 1917, in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Carrie (Koons) Weaver. She was a member of Palmyra United Christian Church, Campbelltown Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary, a graduate of Thompson Business School, Harrisburg, and volunteered at Countryside Christian Community, Annville. She was the widow of Lloyd A. Hampton and was also preceded in death by her brother, Russell Weaver. Surviving are her daughters, Ruth, wife of Richard Kleinfelter of Cleona, Carolyn, wife of Gary Painter of Hershey, and Linda, wife of Harold Bucks of Palmyra; five grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra. Burial will be in Campbelltown United Christian Cemetery. Viewings 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, both at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palmyra United Christian Church, 133 N.
