  Hartz Jr., Paul A.   
   
  Paul A. Hartz Jr., age 74, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, in the Countryside 
  Christian Community, Annville. He was the husband of Mary E. (Stump) Hartz, who 
  died November 8, 2008. He was the son of the late Paul A. and Naomi R. (Horst) 
  Hartz Sr. He was born in Hershey on April 29, 1934. Paul retired from the 
  Northern Lickdale Elementary School, teaching for 35 plus years. He graduated 
  from Messiah College. Studied at the Lebanon Valley College and the 
  Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren College. He accomplished 50 years of 
  ministry. He and his wife, Mary, were members of the Mohler's Dunkard Brethren 
  Church in Mechanicsburg. Surviving are his brothers-in-law, John, husband of 
  Rita Stump of Bernville, Pa., Paul, husband of Mary Stump of Englewood, Ohio, 
  and his sister-in-law, Ruth, wife of Barry Burtner of Red Lion, Pa. Relatives 
  and friends are invited for a time of viewing on Monday, February 2, 2009, from 
  68 p.m. at the Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra. His 
  funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at 10 a.m., with the hour 
  prior for viewing at the Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 45 N. Chestnut St., 
  Palmyra. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be given to the Countryside Christian Community, 520 
  N. Route 934, Annville, PA 17003.
