"Leo" John L. "Leo" Haug, 56, of 10 Mill Road Myerstown and formerly of Manheim died Friday, June 5, 2009 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Dorothy Coleman Haug. Leo worked in the food service departments for the Host Farm, and the Continental Inn of Lancaster and the Quality Inn of Lebanon, most recently he worked as a sales representative for Seigfried's Restaurant Equipment Myerstown. He was a graduate of Manheim Central High School Class of 1971 and he received in 1973 an Associates Degree in food service from Harrisburg Area Community College. Leo was an avid reader and had a keen interest in Military History. Surviving is a sister, Kay wife of Skip Hetrich, a brother, Jere Haug all of Manheim, nephew, Mitchell Hetrich of Greenville, niece Jennifer Hetrich Kotzen of North Hampton, N.H., nephew, Mark Hetrich of Mt. Gretna, and a nephew Justin Haug of Elizabethtown. Memorial service for Leo will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Buch Funeral Home Manheim is in charge of arrangements.
