Hawryluk, 79, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. He was the husband of the late Ida A. (Tavani) Hawryluk. They were married October 6, 1951. Born in Annville, on April 17, 1930, he was a son of the late Mary (Mandryk) and John Hawryluk. He retired as a Machinist from Fuller Co./F L Smidth Manheim and also was a self employed dairy farmer. He was a Founding member of the Lebanon Polka Pals and was a member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church. He loved to farm, loved his children and grandchildren, and loved to Polka. He was very proud of his Ukrainian heritage. He was 1948 graduate of Lebanon High School. He is survived by two sons, Anthony M. Hawryluk, of Annville, Joseph M. Hawryluk, of Lebanon; a daughter, Tina M., wife of James Sanders, of Cleona; a sister, Kathryn Hostetter; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Allix Sanders, of Cleona, Beau, husband of Amanda Sanders, of Lebanon, Jamie, wife of Mitch Moyer, of Lebanon; two greatgrandchildren, Olivia and Micah; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven M. Hawryluk; four brothers, Peter, Walter, Nicholas and Andrew Hawryluk; and three sisters, Anna Vastinar, Olga Winkler & Mary Pulaski. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at 1 p.m. at St. Benedict The Abbot Church, 1300 Lehman Street, Lebanon. Interment at the Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:45 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St. Lebanon. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Benedict's Church.
