  June M. Gassert Herr, 71, of 33 Old Ebenezer Road, Lebanon, died Tuesday, July 
  7, 2009, in her residence. She was the wife of Curtis C. Herr with whom she 
  celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this past August. Born in Lebanon on 
  June 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Beulah A. Sterner. June was a 
  member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Fredericksburg. Surviving, in 
  addition to her husband, are two sons, John C., husband of Sharon Herr of 
  Myerstown, and Dennis L. Herr of Manville, NJ; a daughter, Cindy A., wife of 
  Ray Deaner of Lebanon; two sisters, Patricia, wife of Emory Hesel of Ono, and 
  Mary, wife of Lou Evans of Annville; five grandchildren, Christopher T. Herr, 
  Matthew S. Herr, Gary C. Herr, Danielle R. Herr and Ashley N. Herr; and several 
  nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM from 
  St. John's United Church of Christ, W. Main Street, Fredericksburg. Interment 
  will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Friday from 
  9:3011:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to 
  GSH Hospice, P.O. Box 1281, Lebanon, PA 17042 or the American Lung Association, 
  3001 Old Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Kreamer Funeral Home and 
  Crematory, Annville, is in charge of arrangements.
