  Virginia J. Heverling, 77, formerly of Lebanon died February 9th at 2:10 a.m. 
  of natural causes at Oak Leaf Manor, Landisville, Pa. Her husband, Richard A. 
  Heverling, died April 23, 1999. Born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the 
  late John H. and Stella (Uhrich) Jacobsen. She was a 1949 graduate of Lebanon 
  High School, earned her B.S. in elementary education from Millersville 
  University in 1953, and received her M.S. from Marywood College, Scranton, in 
  1976. She was a school teacher at South East Elementary School and South West 
  Elementary School in the Lebanon School District for 35 years, retiring in 
  1997. She was a member of the church of the Good Shepherd, Lebanon, a member of 
  the Lebanon County Public School Employees Retirement Association, and a member 
  the Friends of the Lebanon Community Library. She is survived by three sons, 
  David R. Heverling, husband of Heather of Hopkinton, Mass., Michael J. 
  Heverling, husband of Laura of Lancaster, and Daniel C. Heverling, husband of 
  Cindy of Ellicott City, Md. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Andrew, 
  Molly, Briannne, Megan, Katie, and Olivia. A memorial service will be held 
  Saturday at 11 a.m. in Church of the Good Shepherd, Lebanon. A fellowship 
  luncheon will follow in the church. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., 
  Wernersville, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the Lebanon Community Library, Seventh and Willow 
  streets, Lebanon, PA 17042.
