Myrtle D. Himmelberger Myrtle D. Himmelberger, 99, formerly of East Main Avenue, Myerstown, died Thursday, March 12, 2009, at the E. C. C. Retirement VillageStoneRidge Village Campus Health Care Center, Myerstown. She was the widow of Harry E. Himmelberger Sr., who died April 1, 1965. Born in Reading, Pa., on January 25, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Edwin C. and Minnie (Steinmetz) Boyer. She had been employed for 21 years at the former Publix Shirt Co., Myerstown, Pa. She worshipped in the Protestant faith, was a member of the Myerstown VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and had been a Gold Star Mother. She is survived by daughters Bernice Lupinetti of Myerstown, Joyce Ruth of Stouchsburg, Fay, wife of Arnold Miller of Myerstown, and Cheryl, wife of Henry Maurus of Myerstown; eight grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; three great- greatgrandchildren; sisters Arlene Becker of Stouchsburg and Anna Conrad of Womelsdorf; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Harry E. Himmelberger Jr., in the Korean War, and infants Darlene and Richard Himmelberger. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Monday at 1 p.m. Interment at Heidelberg Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Myerstown, Pa.
