  Mary E. Hoffman LEBANON Mary Elizabeth Hoffman, 91, died Monday August 31, 
  2009, in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Clarence W. 
  Hoffman, with whom she would have celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on 
  September 4, 2009. She was born in Lebanon, on May 27, 1918, daughter of the 
  late Charles and Florence Erdman Lowry. She was a member of Holy Trinity 
  Lutheran Church, Lebanon. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School Class of 
  1935. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Richard Hoffman and 
  wife, Renee of Mt. Gretna. Mary was the devoted grandmother of Mark Hoffman and 
  wife, Belinda of Palmyra, Julie, wife of Dennis Larison of Elizabethtown, and 
  Alicia Johnston of Elizabethtown. In addition, she is survived by seven great-
  grandchildren; and a sister, Kathryn Lowry of Lebanon. A gathering of friends 
  will be held Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Rohland Funeral Home, 
  Lebanon, followed by a private family graveside services at the Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy 
  Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. The Rohland Funeral 
  Home, Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
