He was the husband of Annetta B. Bucks Hoke, with whom he was married to for 65 years. He was born March 28, 1919, in Lebanon, a son of the late John and Sue B. Mark Hoke. He was owner of the former Hoke's Bottling Works of Lebanon from 1947 to 1965. He was a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church, where served as usher for many years. Mark was inducted into the Lebanon Valley Sports Hall of Fame in 1998 for basketball and baseball, the LDBA Hall of Fame in 1993 for bowling, and served as secretary of the church bowling league for many years. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School, Class of 1936, a member of the Friendship Fire Company, and was an avid bird watcher. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter Marlys A., wife of Albert D. Ogurcak of Lebanon; granddaughters Alana M. Ogurcak of Rochester, N.Y., and Danielle E. Ogurcak of Miami, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Hoke; and sister Mary Yake. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, with a viewing beginning on Saturday at 12 p.m. Interment will be made in the Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Covenant United Methodist Church, 346 N. Ninth St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
