M. shabodeho@aol.com September 6, 2009, 10:06 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 8/24/2009 - 8/25/2009 Hollingsworth, Madge Madge Hollingsworth PALMYRA Madge Hollingsworth, 85, passed away in the arms of her two children at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home on Saturday, August 22, 2009. She leaves behind her son, Ken Hollingsworth of Annville; and her daughter, Kathy Carey of Lebanon, wife of Wayne and mother of her two beloved grandchildren, David and Elizabeth Carey. Also surviving her are her sisters-in- law, Marion and Erika Weaver, and Dorthy Souder; brothers-in-law, Wayne Saufley, Robert Wilhite, Robert Hanshue, and Robert Kegerreis; and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ammon Hollingsworth, Jr.; her parents, Wade and Tracy Weaver; and her eight brothers and sisters, Virginia Clemens, Francis Saufley, Helen Wilhite, Ann Hanshue, and Wilmer, Ray, Harold, and Ralph Weaver. Madge was a member of the Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra. She loved to cook and loved flowers. She loved to share both with her friends and family. Her loving spirit and strong faith in God touched all, and she will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009, in the DiMatteo Worship Center of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb St., Palmyra. A reception will follow the service at the home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LVBH Good Samaritan Fund, 1200 Grubb St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
