Lloyd A. Hostetter, 99, formerly of 1128 Cedar Crest Drive, Lebanon, died Monday, February 16, 2009, in Countryside Christian Community, North Annville Township. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Goodyear Hostetter and Sara Miller Kreider Hostetter. Born in North Annville Township on December 24, 1909, he was the son of the late Penrose and Katie Light Hostetter. For 44 years, he was a dairy farmer in North Annville and Bethel townships. He was a 60-year member of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher, lay Leader, and served on the administrative board. He was also a former member of the Northern Lebanon Senior Citizens. Lloyd enjoyed woodworking and caning chairs. Surviving are two sons, Curtis W., husband of Linda Hostetter of Virginville, and Elson L., husband of Donna Hostetter of Jonestown; two daughters, Thelma M., wife of John Blouch of Jonestown, and Corinne J., wife of Glenn Wagner of Lebanon; two brothers, the Rev. Dr. Mark Hostetter of Cornwall, Penrose Hostetter of North Annville; and a sister, Ruth Blauch of Annville; 11 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and Luke Hostetter; and two sisters, Cora Miller and Alma Neidich. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, Shirksville Road, Jonestown. Interment will be in North Bellegrove Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church. Kreamer and Lum Funeral Home and Crematory, Jonestown, is in charge of arrangements.
