Paul E. Hostetter, 87, of Jonestown died January 10, 2009, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Sara A. Moyer Hostetter, to whom he was married for 63 years. Born in Bunker Hill on July 6, 1921, he was the son of the late Charles and Roberta Brugh Hostetter. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and worked for the Crash Fire Fighter Civil Service in Middletown as a fire fighter. Paul was a member of the Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Annville, and was a Boy Scout leader in Mt. Wilson. He was the past president and state president for the Isaac Walton Conversation Group. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Ebersole of Lebanon; sisters Vista Darkes of Lebanon and Christine Troutman of Myerstown and twin sister Pauline Royer of Palmyra; grandchildren Michael Ebersole, Sonya Keller and Stacy Landis; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by twin brothers Roy and Ray Hostetter, brother Sterling Hostetter, and sisters Merriel Horst and Louise Shaffer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. from the Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, 710 S. White Oak St., Annville, PA 17003. Burial will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice Unit of the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 S.
