He was born December 27, 1950, in Lebanon, a son of the late William F. Houser Sr. and the late Florence Lorraine Reich Houser. He was sexton of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Lebanon for over 20 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was involved in the Boy Scouts of America in his younger years. He is survived by children Paul, husband of Karen Houser of White House, Tenn., Tanya Sevco of Lebanon; grandchildren Ryan and Morgan Sevco; brother Russell, husband of Tina Houser of Vidalia, Ga.; stepmother Eleanor Houser of Lebanon; stepbrother Ray Maillet of Lebanon. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 22 S. Sixth St., Lebanon, PA 17042. No viewing. Friends may call Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to his church.
