Huyler, 82, formerly of Montville, N.J., died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at his residence. He was the husband of Doris L. (Ford) Huyler, to whom he was married 58 years on June 9, 2009. Born in Taylortown (Montville), N.J. on March 24, 1927, he was the son of the late Frank and Elise (Danielson) Huyler. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and worked for 28 years as a machinist at Marotta Scientific Control, Boonton, N.J., retiring in 1987. He enjoyed breeding beagles and was a member of the Lebanon County Beagle Club. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Margaret wife of Barry Hampe of Shohola, Pa. and a son, Ken Huyler of Saylorsburg; five grandchildren, Barry husband of Cathy Hampe, Brad Hampe, Marque Hampe, Tina Huyler and Cheryl L. Huyler; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., P.O. Box 1263, Lebanon, Pa. 17042. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown is in charge of arrangements.
