In 2001, Scott drove across the country and stopped when he arrived in Boulder. He loved the mountains and made many friends in Boulder. Scott also lived in Harrisonburg, Va., Lebanon, Pa., Winchester, Va., Atlanta, Ga., and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He graduated from Cedar Crest High School in Lebanon in 1976. Scott was a gifted carpenter and enjoyed photography, cooking, and the infinite beauty of nature. Although Scott's health was in decline, his death was a shock his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Lois Innes of Fairfax, Va.; his sisters, Lane Thompson of Minneapolis, Minn., and Carol DiLorenzo of McLean, Va.; and extended family.
