Kindt, Sr., 66, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009, at the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Green Point, July 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ester Fake Kindt. He had worked for J.P. Donmoyer as a mechanic. Mr. Kindt was a collector of baseball cards, and a member of the NRA, the National Fisherman's Club, an avid Phillies, Eagles and Flyers fan and he loved softball, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son, Earl H. Kindt, Jr., and his wife, Angel of Jonestown; daughters, Wanda L., wife of Emilio Flores of Jonestown and Michelle M. Hummer of Annville; brothers, Kenneth Kindt and Thomas Kindt, both of Jonestown and Jimmy Kindt of Lebanon; sisters, Phyllis L. Blakely of Howard, Ohio, Joyce L. Reinbold and Shirley A. Michael, both of Jonestown; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kindt. Memorial services were held on Sunday, November 8, 2009, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, with the Rev. David Dow, chaplain at Penn National, officiating.
