M. shabodeho@aol.com June 5, 2009, 1:40 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 5/29/2009 Klahr, Kenneth "Butch" Kenneth "Butch" Klahr, 62, of 31 Birch Street, Annville, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, in the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Deborah A. Bender Klahr to whom he would have been married to for 44 years this November. Born in Lebanon on May 7, 1947, he was the son of the late Lester and Myrtle Lawson Klahr. He worked as a foreman for W.L. Kreider Shoe, Palmyra, and for Kraft Foods, Palmyra. He was member of the Annville American Legion Post 559 and the Benton VFW. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Sherry, wife of Keath McIntyre of Palmyra, a sister, Jeanette Engle of Palmyra, a grandson, Steven Krause of Arizona, and nieces and nephews Terry, Stacie, Amanda, Amy, Anna and Alisha. He was Uncle Butch to many who loved him. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Klahr Jr. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30-11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
