"Dewey" Warren W. "Dewey" Kline, Sr., 103, formerly of Manheim, went home to his Lord & Savior, Tuesday June 9, 2009 at the home of his daughter Dorothy Wida, with whom he resided. Born in Elstonville, he was the son of the late Franklin G. and Rosa (Wolpert) Kline. He was the husband of the late Sara L. (Young) Kline who died in 1992. Dewey was an employee for PennDot for 27 years as a highway foreman, oiling foreman, and retired as Assistant Superintendent of Highways in Lancaster County. After his retirement Dewey continued to work as a zoning officer for Penn Twp.. "Dewey" as he was affectionately known, was the oldest member of Chiques Church of the Brethren of Manheim. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking. Surviving are two sons, Warren W. Kline, Jr. of Manheim, Carl D. Kline, Sr. of Lititz; four daughters Margaret wife of Richard Lorah of Denver, PA, R. Faye wife of Wilbur C. Kreiser of Palmyra, Patricia G. Kline of Arizona, Dorothy A. Wida of Cornwall; fourteen grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren; and 10 great-greatgrandchildren. . In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service from the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday May 12, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with J. Becker Ginder and Norman D. Yeater officiating. Interment will be in Chiques Brethren Cemetery, Rapho Twp. There will be a public viewing on friday at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. If desired, contributions in Dewey's memory may be sent to Chiques Church of the Brethren, Building Fund, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim PA 17545.
