Koehler PINE GROVE Kenneth Lee Koehler, 69, passed away Monday, August 17, 2009, in Select Spe cialty Hospital, Harrisburg. Born on September 18, 1939, in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Ivan and Helen Zerbe Koehler. He was a 1957 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School. Kenneth worked in the maintenance department at Tyco. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. He was also a member and Vice President of the Pine Grove Historical Society and he volunteered with the food pantry. He loved to travel and especially liked his cruises. He also loved his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Jean Koehler, on July 22, 2009; a brother, Ivan Koehler; and three sisters, Lucetta Hatter, Mable Koehler, and Mae Meador. He was a loving husband to his wife of 37 years, Laura Helms Koehler; and a loving father to his son, Michael and wife, Julie Koehler of Pine Grove, two daughters, Pam and husband, Keith Hawryluk of Lebanon, and Beth Noll of Pine Grove, and a son-in-law, Scott Hetrick of Pine Grove. He was also a loving pap to his grandchildren, Scott and wife, Heather Hawryluk of Lebanon, Ralph and wife, Tracey Hawryluk of Newton, N.J., Sarah and husband, Greg Keilholtz of Dillsburg, and Trent Noll, Chanel and Dominique Hetrick, and Nash and Arisa Koehler, all of Pine Grove; and greatgrandchildren, Indy Hawryluk, Nicholas Keilholtz, and Ganon Hawryluk. He is also survived by a brother, Joe Koehler of North Carolina; and a sister, Sarah Stovall of Maryland. Memorial services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 222 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sarah Keilholtz officiating. Friends will be received Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions in his memory be made to the Pine Grove Historical Society, P.O. Box 65, 205 N. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963. The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
