  John T. Kolessar MYERSTOWN John T. Kolessar, 81, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009, 
  at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Jennie M. Gargenes Kolessar. 
  Born in Wilkes-Barre, on May 24, 1928, he was the son of the late Michael and 
  Mary Goc Kolessar. He was a retired dock worker, having worked for Jones Motors 
  in Lebanon and McQuaid in Bethel. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. 
  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, Mary Gate of Heaven 
  Church, Myerstown, and the Legion of Mary. He enjoyed car racing, professional 
  wrestling, and reading. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Jennie, are a 
  daughter, Therese, wife of Eric Poe of Wynne; two grandchildren, Tiana and 
  Enjoli Segneri; one great-grandson, Dominic; two sisters, Helen McCormick of 
  New Jersey and Sue Russell of Philadelphia; one niece, Kathleen DeSario of New 
  Jersey; and a nephew, Anthony Colasurdo of New Jersey. Funeral mass will be 
  Monday, August 24, at 11:30 a.m. from Mary Gate of Heaven Church, 188 W. 
  McKinley Ave., Myerstown. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery. Viewing hours are Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 10 to 11 a.m. at 
  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon. Recitation of the Rosary 
  Sunday evening at 7:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Gate 
  of Heaven Church.
