  Dorothy I. Kovack LEBANON Dorothy I Kovack, 95, passed away Monday, December 
  21, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Charles L. 
  Kovack, who passed away in 1995. Dorothy was born in Lebanon, on November 19, 
  1914, a daughter of the late James P. and Irene G. (Werth) Foster. She retired 
  in 1946 from Kresge in Lebanon. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church, a 
  life member of both the Senior Center of Lebanon Valley and the VFW Auxiliary 
  Post #23. She was a graduate from the Lebanon Catholic High School. She was an 
  avid bingo player, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, cooking and 
  spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter, Theresa L. Friend 
  of Lebanon; a son, Stephen, husband of Cathy Kovack of Myerstown; a 
  granddaughter, Amanda Ueda; two grandsons, Matt and Corey Strauser; six great-
  grandchildren, Bryce, Samantha, Skyanna, Zander, Dagon and Connor; and two 
  sisters, Sara Marko and Hilda Fasnacht, both of Lebanon; nieces and nephews. 
  She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary E. Bleistein; and four brothers, 
  Charles, Joseph, Robert and John Foster. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11 a.m. 
  from the St. Cecilia's Church, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon. Interment at St. 
  Gertrude's Cemetery. Viewing hours Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:30 at 
  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, 
  donations may be made to the Senior Center of Lebanon Valley, 710 Maple St., 
  Lebanon, PA 17046; or to the Church Memorial Fund.
