  Arlene Ruth Kramer, 84, Ephrata, formerly of Kleinfeltersville, died May 7, 
  2009, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born in Schoeneck, a daughter of the 
  late Claude and Kathryn (Weaver) Kramer, she was a member of St. Paul's 
  Lutheran Church, Adamstown. A waitress for nearly 40 years at the former 
  turnpike Howard Johnsons, Denver, "Mammy" was an avid Phillies fan and a great 
  cook, especially vegetable soup, chicken pot pie and raspberry crumb pie. 
  Surviving: sisters, Betty Jane (Kenneth) Carpenter, Cornwall; Mary Lou (Harlan) 
  Shirk, Schoeneck; Ella Kathryn Felker, Della Mae (David) Stoyer, and Claudia 
  Faye Firestine, all of Ephrata; brother, Claude Jay Kramer, Florida; niece and 
  caregiver, Vicki Lynn (Robert) Fenstermaker, Reinholds; and numerous nieces and 
  nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Henry Percifer Kramer. Her 
  celebration of life will be Thursday, May 14, 2009, at 7:00 PM from Good 
  Funeral Home & Cremation Centre of Reamstown. Rather than flowers, 
  contributions to American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 
  17603.
