  Krout, Mildred E. "Millie"   
   
  Mildred E. Krout Mildred E. "Millie" Krout, 87, of 25 Pine Ave., Lebanon, died 
  Sunday, March 15, 2009, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born August 27, 
  1921, in Quentin, daughter of the late John and Ida Keath Eckert. She was a 
  member of Quentin United Church of Christ. She was a member of the Red Hat 
  Society, the Quentin Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, senior center, and was a sewing 
  volunteer at Cedar Haven. Surviving are sons Bruce D., spouse of Janice 
  Schafebook of Bethlehem, and Theodore C. Schafebook Jr., spouse of Suzanne of 
  Lebanon; step-children Gregory, spouse of Connie Krout of Mt. Wolf, and Sandra 
  Harlow of Gettysburg; brother John Eckert of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; and 
  eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands Theodore C. 
  Schafebook (1955) and Robert L. Krout (1988); four sisters; and one brother. 
  Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2009, from 10-11 a.m. at Quentin 
  United Church of Christ, Routes 72 and 419, Quentin, followed by services at 11 
  a.m. Burial will be at Quentin (Bismarck) Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to 
  her church.
