  David E. Kurtz MYERSTOWN David E. Kurtz, 88, formerly of Bethel Twp., died 
  Friday, September 18, 2009, at the E.C.C. Retirement VillageStoneRidge Village 
  Campus, Myerstown. He was the husband of Helen M. (Sattazahn) Kurtz, who died 
  September 2, 2003. Born in Millcreek Twp., on May 14, 1921, he was the son of 
  the late Herbert and Martha (Erb) Kurtz. He had been a self employed farmer in 
  Womelsdorf for many years. Mr. Kurtz was a member Salem "Hetzel's" U.C.C., Pine 
  Grove, and the Marion Senior Citizens, Stouchsburg. He is survived by 
  daughters, Nancy, wife of William Lape of Lincoln Park, Susan Kurtz of 
  Baltimore, Md., and Deborah Johnson of Peterson, Iowa; son, Andrew P., husband 
  of Eileen Kurtz of Bernville; stepson, James Bross of Wyomissing; seven 
  grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; sisters, Jane, wife of Henry Steiner of 
  Sheridan, Ruth Troutman of Wyomissing, and Mary, wife of George Ruth of 
  Womelsdorf; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the 
  convenience of the family. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of 
  arrangements.
