  Melvin L. Lapp MYERSTOWN Melvin L. Lapp, 19, died Monday, September 14, 2009 in 
  the Hershey Medical Center. He died from injuries sustained in a horse drawn 
  buggy accident, which occurred earlier in the day in Jackson Township, at the 
  intersection of Route 422 and Ramona Road. He was born September 8, 1990 in 
  Heidelberg Township, a son of Amos L. and Fannie Lantz Lapp of Myerstown. He 
  worked part time on a dairy farm. Surviving in addition to his parents are 
  brothers, Levi husband of Sadie Lapp, Amos Lapp and twin sister Anna L., wife 
  of John Lantz ; and other sisters, Katie wife of Jonas Zook, Miriam Lapp, Sarah 
  Lapp, Mary Lapp and Suzanne Lapp. Funeral service was held Wednesday, September 
  16, 2009 in the Amos L. Lapp residence with burial immediately following in the 
  Lapp Cemetery, Heidelberg Township. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. of 
  Schaefferstown was in charge of the arrangements.
