  Kathryn M. Lauck PALMYRA Kathryn Margaret (Brandt) Lauck, 95, died Saturday, 
  December 19, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the daughter of the 
  late Louis and Emilie (Backhaus) Brandt and the widow of Joseph E. Lauck, who 
  died on July 28, 1957. A former resident of Palmyra, Mrs. Lauck then resided at 
  Kindred Place at Annville until her more recent stay at The Lebanon Valley 
  Home, Annville. She was retired from the family business, the former Lauck 
  Bros. store in Palmyra. She was a member of Hill United Church of Christ, 
  Lebanon. She also was a member of the Palmyra chapter of the Order of the 
  Eastern Star. She is survived by a daughter, Amelia L. Rothermel and husband, 
  James of Annville, and a son, Joseph F. (Bud) Lauck and his wife, Patricia of 
  Palmyra. She is also survived by one sister, Betty R. Brandt of Palmyra; five 
  grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 
  Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. 
  Pine St., Palmyra, 17078 with the Rev. Leonard S. Knighton officiating. Family 
  and friends are invited for a time of viewing from 10 a.m. until time of the 
  service. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Contributions in 
  her memory may be made to United Church of Christ Homes, 30 N. 31st St., Camp 
  Hill, PA 17011; or Hill United Church of Christ, 3801 Hill Church Road, 
  Lebanon, PA 17046.
