Leonard, 62, entered into heaven on Friday, October 9, 2009, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, surrounded by her family, guardian angel, and caregiver Shawn Berkheimer of Lebanon at her side. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Leonard, and Friday would have been their 44th wedding anniversary. Born in Philadelphia on October 26, 1946, she was the daughter of Mildred Wesley Zearfoss of Lebanon and the late Harry Zearfoss. Beatrice was a homemaker, and childcare provider, and also enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, and sewing. In addition to her mother , she is survived by her sons Rodney M. Leonard of Grantville, Edward C. Trokie and his wife, Regina of Lebanon and Christopher T. Trokie and his wife, Kelly of Harrisburg; daughters, Billie Jo, wife of Michael Tiffany of Cornwall and Becky S. , wife of Rusty Weitzel of Ebenezer; brothers, Clifford Zearfoss of Lebanon and Scott Zearfoss of the Poconos; sisters, Harrylynn Snyder of Lebanon, Joann Binegar of Lebanon, Lois Jean Elliott of W. Va., and Jacqueline Minardi of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. No viewing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at the Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Transplant Center @ UPMC, Forbes Tower, Suite 8084, 3600 Forbes Ave. & Meyran Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15213; or to the American Lung Association, 3001 Old Gettysburg Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
