Thelma K. Light, 85, of Palmyra went home to be with her Heavenly Father surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 22, 2009, in her residence. She was the wife of the late Wilmer R. Light, who died in 2006. Born in Augusta, VA, on October 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Hattie S. Morris Knight. She was employed by the Hershey Company. Through her long pain and suffering, Thelma remained a faithful servant to the Lord and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn, wife of Charles Bailey of Palmyra, and Evelyn, wife of Kenneth Smith of Palmyra; three brothers, Clarence Knight of Cleona, Rev. Walter, Jr., husband of Wilma Knight of Palmyra, and Elwood, husband of Beatrice Knight of Myerstown; two sisters, Margaret, wife of Ross Herr of Palmyra and Catherine, wife of Rev. Benjamin Dowdrick of Annville; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp. Viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and also on Friday 1 hr. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Asera Care Hospice, 315 Primrose Lane, Ste. 101, Mountville, PA 17554.
