(Kutchever) Lippart, 77, passed away peacefully with family members by her side at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 56 years, Charles E. Lippart. Barbara was born in Lebanon, on Saturday, May 14, 1932, to the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Shirato) Kutchever. A Class of 1950 graduate from Lebanon Catholic High School, she retired from Bell Telephone with 33 years of service. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. An avid reader, Barbara also enjoyed walking, crossword puzzles, and college football, especially Penn State. She loved all animals, especially dogs. In addition to her husband, Charlie, Barbara is survived by her three sisters, Magdalene Koenigsberg of Palmyra, Elizabeth Bernardini of Manheim, and Margaret Barbush and her husband, Samuel of Harrisburg; her brother, Anthony Kutchever and his wife, Sylvia of Wilmington, Del.; her nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Barbara's warmth and spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Her loss leaves a deep and profound void for her family who loved and cherished her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 245 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078, with Father James F. Podlesny officiating. Private burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to The Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Arrangements entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra.
