  Barbara Long
   
  Barbara Long, 86, formerly of Harrisburg, entered into eternal life Saturday, 
  October 31, 2009, at Cedar Haven, Lebanon. She was born, July 13, 1923, in 
  Steelton, the daughter of the late John and Barbara Benkovic. She was preceded 
  in death by her husband, Arthur C. Long; brother, John Benkovic; three sisters, 
  Catherine Simpson, Elizabeth Day and Anne Benkovic; and granddaughter, Kristin 
  Long. She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church. Mrs. Long is 
  survived by her daughter, Yvonne Werner, of Lebanon; son, Arthur A. Long, of 
  Casselberry, Fla; five grandchildren, Steven Werner, Jeanette Orner, Candice 
  Long, Adam Long and Brandan Long; five great-grandchildren, Alexander Orner, 
  Christopher Werner and Elizabeth Werner, Zachary Werner and Blake Long; 
  brother, George Benkovic; and sister, Mary Benkovic, both of Steelton. Mass of 
  Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday in her church, 4000 Derry 
  St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial 
  contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., 
  Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110; or to the United Cerebral Palsy, 1902 Market 
  St., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
