Martin, 93, formerly of Richland, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009, in the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz. She was married to Henry M. Martin, who died November 23, 1973. She was born in West Earl Township, Lancaster County on December 13, 1915, a daughter of the late John N. and Ameila Hoover Horst. She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference, Myerstown. She is survived by daughters, Laura, married to J. Martin Groff, Farmersville, Naomi, married to Peter B. Shirk, Denver, Edith, married to Aaron B. Zimmerman, New York; Louella, married to Isaac G. Wenger, New Bloomfield, Maryann, married to Luke Z. Horning, Newmanstown, Alma, married to Titus Z. Martin, East Earl, and Sarah, married to Vernon G. Good, East Earl; sons, Marvin H., married to Esther Musser Martin, New York; Alvin H., married to Edna Sensenig Martin, Myerstown, Lawrence H., married to Vera Martin Martin, Lebanon, and Leroy H., married to Emma Zeiset Martin, Denver; 80 grandchildren; 262 greatgrandchildren; three greatgreat-grandchildren; brother, Melvin H. Horst, Leola; stepchildren, Elaine, married to John David Weaver, Kinzers, Kenneth, married to Irene Groff, Ephrata, Edith, married to Marlin Weaver, Stevens, Alverta, married to Ervin Martin, Mohnton, Marlene, married to Stephen Martin, Myerstown, Karen, married to Glenn Musser, Fredericksburg, and Kevin, married to Judy Groff, Manheim; 27 stepgrandchildren; and 42 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Verna Brubacker; seven brothers; three sisters; five grandsons; and three greatgrandchildren. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Fairview Mennonite Church, Elco Drive, Myerstown. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, Jackson Road, Lebanon. Please omit flowers.
