Martyniak, 38, formerly of South Jersey, died Monday, August 10, 2009, at his home. He was the husband of Jennifer Jamison Martyniak, his wife of five years. Born in Wilmington, Del., he was a graduate of Cumberland Christian School in Vineland, N.J. Mr. Martyniak was employed by the University of Pennsylvania Health System as a Senior Network Engineer for 12 years. He was an expert Pyrotechnician who ran events for the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies, and Great Adventure, to note a few. He was a member of the Crackerjacks Fireworks Club, but more then anything he loved spending time with his children. In addition to his wife, Jennifer, he is survived by a daughter, Devon Martyniak; brother, Nicholas Martyniak; and his parents, Craig Martyniak and Janice Ferguson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jocelyn J. Martyniak. Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2009, at the Drexelbrook, 4700 Drexelbrook Drive, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Friends and family may call at the Drexelbrook Friday after 4 p.m. The family requests that you please come casually dressed. Burial will be private.
