Born March 21, 1922 in Columbia Crossroads, Pa., he was a son of the late Ernest and Lillie (Miller) McKerrow. He was supervisor of the parking meter department of Lower Merion Twp., Ardmore, retiring after 25 years. Mr. McKerrow was a 1941 graduate of Troy High School, Troy, Pa., and a graduate of Bok Vocational, Philadelphia, majoring in watchmaking. He was a WW II U.S. Army disabled veteran and was awarded a Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. He was a member of Cornwall United Methodist Church and was an avid volunteer. Surviving is his wife, the former Jean S. Smith of Cornwall; a sister, Melvia DeWalt of Columbia Crossroads, Pa; 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 25th in Zerr Chapel at Cornwall Manor, 1 Boyd St., Cornwall, with The Rev. Glen Esler and The Rev. James Heath officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Auer Cremation Services of Pennsylvania, Inc., Harrisburg.
