  McLaughlin Sr., Carl A.    
   
  Carl A. McLaughlin Sr. WATERTOWN, NY Carl A. McLaughlin, Sr., 80, passed away 
  Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Samaritan Medical Center. He was the 
  husband of Dolores Boyer McLaughlin. They were married in Orlando, Fla., 
  November 13, 1947. Born on October 14, 1928, in Lebanon, he was the seventh of 
  nine children born to Walter and Stella Tice McLaughlin. He was an Army veteran 
  and was honorably discharged in 1954. Mr. McLaughlin was employed at Bethlehem 
  Steel Co., in Lebanon until 1957. He then moved to Buffalo, N.Y., in the spring 
  of 1957 where he was employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. He retired in 1986 
  as a District Operator in Watertown, N.Y. Surviving, in addition to his wife, 
  are two sons, Carl and his wife, Weslie McLaughlin of Watertown, N.Y., and 
  Thomas and his wife, Gayle McLaughlin of Scotia, N.Y.; six grandchildren; a 
  sister, Estella, wife of Paul Edris of Lake Isabelle, Calif.; and nieces and 
  nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the H. L. 
  Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor William Schiller 
  officiating. There will be a calling time from 10 a.m. until time of service at 
  the funeral home. Burial will be in Outwood Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. 
  Arrangements in Watertown, N.Y., were made with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. 
  In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the Flower 
  Memorial Library, 229 Washington St., Watertown, NY 13601, in his memory.
