"Limp" Richard A. "Limp" Mease Sr., 80, Myerstown, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Gloria F. Mease. He was born in Lebanon on July 19, 1928, a son of the late William and Bertha Feeman Mease. He was a 1946 graduate of Lebanon High School, and was the owner and operator of Melody Music Inc. He had also worked at the Cornwall Ore Mines. Mr. Mease proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a life member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He was a 50-year member of the Annville Legion; life member of the St. Gertude's Club; member of the Mt. Zion Fire Co., Goodwill Fire Co., Maennerchor Club, and 5th Ward A.C. He enjoyed bowling and playing golf. He is survived by children James Q. Mease, Richard A. Mease Jr., Elizabeth A. "Libby" Pinegar, Robert M. Mease, George T. Mease, Steven E. Mease; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother William F. Mease. He was preceded in death by a brother, James R. "Muzz" Mease. Memorial services will be Sunday, 5 p.m., in the Rohland Funeral Home, Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon. There will be a time of visitation Sunday from 3 p.m. to the time of service in the funeral home. Interment will be made Monday at 10 a.m. in the national cemetery at Fort Indiantown Gap. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center Hospice Unit, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
