Midbon, John R.    
 
 
John R. Midbon, 78, of 664 Hillside Avenue, Hummelstown, died Wednesday, July 
1, 2009, in the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Kay 
Speece Midbon, who died in 2005. Born in Superior, Wisconsin, on November 21, 
1930, he was the son of the late Selmar and Jean Fernquist Midbon. He was 
employed as a car salesman for KlickLewis, Palmyra, and was a United State Air 
Force veteran of Korea. Surviving are two brothers Larry Midbon of Superior, 
Wisconsin, and James Midbon of Janesville, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death 
by a son, Eric P. Midbon; two brothers, Jerry and Dennis Midbon; and a sister, 
Joan Levens. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. from the 
Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment 
will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, with full military honors. Viewing 
will be held on Friday from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service.
