Pearl E. Miller, 93, of Richland, Pa., died Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon, Pa. She was the wife of the late LeRoy W. Miller, who died February 6, 1993. Born in Marion Township, Berks County, Pa., on September 15, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ellen (Bickel) Seibert. She was a 1932 graduate of Myerstown High School. Along with her husband, they owned and operated a dairy farm in Tulpehocken Township, Berks County, for 40 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Tulpehocken UCC, Richland, Pa., a member of the Berks County Farm Woman Group 5, Marion Senior Citizens, and a lifetime member of the Marion Grange. She enjoyed quilting, search word puzzles, reading, playing cards, and traveling. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara, wife of Jim Batz of Myerstown, Pa.; son Harold, husband of Rowena Miller of Richland, Pa.; grandchildren Tammy, wife of Marlin Ritchie of Richland, Pa., Jamie, wife of John Wise of Bethel, Pa., Melody, wife of Ronald Brown of Richland, Pa., Leesa Miller of Richland, Pa., Jo Lyn, wife of Mark Light of Bethel, Pa., Stacie, wife of David Graupp of Richland, Pa., Rebecca, wife of Scot Zeller of Newmanstown, Pa.; 13 greatgrandchildren; one greatgreat- granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Carvell; and brother Selas Seibert. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. from Tulpehocken U.C.C., Richland, Pa. Viewing Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment in adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tulpehocken U.C.C., 961 Tulpehocken Road, Richland, PA 17087. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
