  Phillip R. Miller NEWMANSTOWN Phillip R. Miller, 62, died unexpectedly 
  Thursday, September 3, 2009, in the Emergency Room at Good Samaritan Hospital, 
  Lebanon. Born in West Reading, he was a son of Irene Clair Miler of Denver, 
  Pa., and the late Elmer Miller. He was retired from D & E Communications where 
  he was employed for 37 years. Phil was a nature lover and enjoyed working on 
  the Miller Haus Tree Farm, flying sail plane, bicycle riding, NASCAR racing, 
  and spending time with his family. He was a graduate of Cocalico High School in 
  1965. In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife of 43 years, Beverly A. 
  Warfel Miller; daughters, Gina (Christopher) Barry of Newmanstown and Heidi 
  (Erik) Williams of Morgantown; and grandchildren, Mason Phillip Williams and 
  Alexa and Savannah Barry. Funeral services and interment will be private. The 
  family is welcoming friends and family to the Miller home in Schaefferstown on 
  Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at 4 p.m. to celebrate Phil's life. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Schoeneck Veterans Memorial, 
  225 Hertzog Valley Road, Denver, PA 17517; or the Morgantown Airport, Rte. 23, 
  Willow Glen Road, Morgantown, PA 19543.
