Miller, 90, of Cedar Haven Nursing Home Lebanon, died Saturday November 7, 2009, in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late William T. Miller. Born in Lebanon December 8, 1918, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Anna C. Moyer McCaffery. She was a member of St. Mary's church, Rosary Society and the PCBL. She volunteered with St. Mary's festivals & bazaars. She enjoyed gardening with roses and crocheting. Surviving are five children, William J., husband of Rosalie Miller of New Cumberland, Edward J., Miller of Litchfield, Conn., John J., Miller of Pottstown, Ruthann, wife of Timothy Aurentz, of Waterford, N.Y., and James M., husband of Wanda Miller, of Myerstown; seven grandchildren, William Jr., Kimberly, Sara, Christopher, Candace, Kara and Kier; three greatgrandchildren, Danielle, Henry, and Jake; one sister, Helene Stafferi of Lititz; and numerous nieces and nephews including Bobbi, Sherry, and Toni. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Margherite Gehret, Caroline Shirk, Catherine Long, Elizabeth Simpson; and two brothers, James and Charles McCaffery. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St. Lebanon, 17046. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Wednesday morning 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedar Haven 590 S. 5th Ave. Lebanon, PA 17042; or the Alzheimer's Assoc. 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110. The family sends special thanks to the staff of Cedar Haven and the entire staff on the 4th floor Alzheimer's Care Unit.
