  Sadie M. Miller RICHLAND Sadie M. Miller, 95, life long residence of Richland, 
  died Thursday, August 6, 2009, in the E.C.C. Retirement Village, Stoneridge 
  Campus, Myerstown. She was the wife of Clarence M. Miller, who died in April 
  1985, having been married for 53 years. She was born September 16, 1913, in 
  Marion Township, Berks County, a daughter of the late Frank and Maggie Witman 
  Salem. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church of Stouchsburg, 
  Neptune Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary of Richland, Marion Senior Citizens, and 
  Golden Agers. She worked for 47 years as a presser for the Publix Shirt Factory 
  in Myerstown. She and her husband and best friend "Miller" did manage to travel 
  a bit - Wildwood excursions with the Senior citizens and even a trip to Hawaii. 
  Sadie loved having either a dog or cat in the house. ''I can't remember them 
  ever not having a pet - even a canary at one point.'' She will be missed by all 
  those who loved her. She is survived by nephews, Earl, Logan, and Ed Salem, and 
  Clarence Kromer; a niece, Esther Lowry; and several great-nieces and nephews. 
  She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Memorial service 
  will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of E.C.C. - Stoneridge, 440 East 
  Lincoln Ave., Myerstown. Interment will be made privately in Grand View 
  Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christ 
  Lutheran Church, 27 Longs Church Lane, Womelsdorf, PA 19567; or the Humane 
  Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067. Clauser 
  Funeral Home, Inc., is handling the arrangements.
