Miller, 69, died Friday, December 11, 2009, at her residence. She was the wife of Robert E. Miller to whom she was married 50 years on October 31, 2009. Born in Myerstown, on December 2, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Walter T. and Ruth M. (Lesher) Harnish. She had been employed at the former Publix Shirt Co., Myerstown, for many years before working at the former Ocello's in Richland. She retired after working for the ELCO School District. She was a member of Tulpehocken U.C.C., Richland, Womelsdorf Rod & Gun Club, and the Marion Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was the kitchen manager for the Marion Fire Co. Bingo, Stouchsburg. An avid bingo player, she also enjoyed cooking, baking, and playing cards. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Kirk R. Miller of Stouchsburg, and Bruce A., husband of Tina Miller of Newmanstown; sisters, Mary Ann, wife of Barry Lutz of Myerstown, Nancy J., wife of Edgar Keyser of Murrysville, and Marie L., wife of Donald Lutz of Robesonia; brother, Guy, husband of Carol Harnish of Troy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Harnish. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. from Tulpehocken U.C.C., Richland. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends Wednesday at 10 am. at the church. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Steeple Fund" of Tulpehocken U.C.C., 961 Tulpehocken Road, Richland, PA 17087. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
