Locust St., Palmyra, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at his residence. He was the son of James M. Miller and Therese' Browne Klinger, wife of Robert, both of Palmyra. He was born on May 20, 1993, in Hillsboro, Texas. He was a sophomore at the Palmyra Area High School. He was an artist who enjoyed painting. He loved to read and, when he was in elementary school, he played ice hockey and participated for several years with the Pinewood Derby through his church. Surviving him in addition to his parents are his sister, Jamie N. Miller, at home; and a stepsister, Ashley A. Miller of Florida; maternal grandparents Ronald and Gloria Browne; and a maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Cranford, both of Livingston, Texas; several aunts, uncles and cousins. His paternal grandparents, Donald T. and Dorothy H. Miller, preceded him in death. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Monday, February 2, 2009, from 13 p.m. at the Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, followed by his funeral at 3 with the Rev. Jan Fryer officiating. A private committal service will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Palmyra Area School District, c/o the Travis Miller Memorial Art Fund, 1125 Park Drive, Palmyra, PA 17078.
