"Norie" Eleanor L. "Norie" Mohn, 52, of Jonestown, passed away on Saturday June 6, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas P. Mohn of 32 years. Born in Lebanon on December 27, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice Brandt Blantz. She was employed by Jonestown Bank & Trust for almost 20 years, most recently as Customer Service Specialist. Prior to the bank she had worked for the former Mohn's TV store in Jonestown for 17 years. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Jonestown where she served as the secretary on the Church Council. She was the Financial Secretary from 19922006 and she also taught Sunday School for many years. She volunteered for Halcyon and was a member of the Perseverance Fire Co. and its Ladies Auxillary for more than 30 years. She was a 1976 graduate of Lebanon High School. Norie was loved by all and will be greatly missed. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Timothy T., husband of Amy Mohn of Green Brook, NJ and Daniel P., husband of Jacquelyn Mohn of Jonestown; brothers Harry, husband of Mary Ann Blantz of Glen Rock, WY and Ronald, husband of Virginia Blantz of Lebanon; sisters Esther, wife of Kenneth Fox and Linda, wife of David Snyder both of Lebanon; her Springer Spaniels Jake and Dolly and her large extended family. She was preceded in death by her sister Harriet Blantz. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Jonestown. Viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made her church, at P.O. Box 658, Jonestown, PA 17038. Arrangements are in the care of the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown.
