  Herbert R. Moore MYERSTOWN Herbert R. Moore, 66, died Friday, September 11, 
  2009, at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon. He was the husband of Marion F. (Leed) 
  Moore, to whom he was married 46 years on June 29, 2009. Born in 
  Kleinfeltersville, on February 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Harold Sr. 
  and Lillian M. (Knier) Moore. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the 
  Vietnam War. He had been employed at Raybesto's, Manheim, for 23 years before 
  working 15 years at Butler Manufacturing, Annville, retiring in 2005. Mr. Moore 
  was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Myerstown. He loved his family 
  and enjoyed hockey and riding his Harley. In addition to his wife, he is 
  survived by a daughter, Pamela S., wife of Thomas Stanley of Myerstown; a son, 
  Derek J. Moore of Redmond, Wash.; two grandchildren, Zachary Lesher of 
  Myerstown and Kasey Reppert of Detroit, Mich.; sister, Shirley, wife of Kenneth 
  Rabold of Newmanstown; brothers, Harold "Spike", Jr., husband of Joyce Moore of 
  Newmanstown, Harrison "Butch", husband of Shirl Moore of Mt. Joy, Howard "Hop", 
  husband of Doris Moore of Newmanstown, and Herman, husband of Sue Moore of 
  Newmanstown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 
  brothers, Terry, Hank, and Harry Moore. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 
  at 11:30 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. 
  Viewing Tuesday at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 
  the VA Medical Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042; or GSH Hospice, 
  P.O. Box 1281, Lebanon, PA 17042; or ALS Clinic, c/o Penn State Hershey Medical 
  Center, Dept. of Neuroscience, Mail Code EC 120, Bldg. B, 30 Hope Drive, 
  Hershey, PA 17033.
